A Long Island woman is facing murder charges after she was arrested for killing her boyfriend and setting his house on fire to cover the crime.

Jennifer Gross, 54, allegedly beat James Coppola, 75, to death with a pan on Nov. 30 after he refused to give her money. She then stole his jewelry and sparked a massive fire in the home.

"There are two sides to every story," she told reporters. "And the truth will come out in court."

Gross and Coppola have an on-and-off relationship since they first met nearly two decades ago. According to witnesses, they would often argue and Coppola had an order of protection filed against Gross that denied her from being near him.

Gross was charged on Friday with murder and arson after she pawned the jewelry she stole from Coppola.
