An Indiana couple indicted on aggressively abusing their foster kids while in their care gets more than a decade in prison sentence each for the inhuman acts.
The victims of Timothy and Diane Combs included four foster children, one adopted child as well as three other kids they were caring for. The couple has been arrested last year after one of their foster children recorded Diane as she was beating a half-naked 6-year-old boy which caused him to fall to the floor. She continued the abuse forcing the toddler to put a dirty diaper into his mouth as she used to do usually as a punishment.
During the last five years, the suspects fostered almost 38 children.
"This is one of the most egregious cases I have come across in my time as a prosecutor," Prosecutor Lynn Deddens stated.
