A Missouri father has been charged after he left his four small children alone during a fire that broke out at their St. Louis home.
33-year-old Keith Witherspoon Jr. was charged with four counts of child endangerment and is being held without bond in connection with the Aug. 15 incident.
The four children that are all under 4 years of age were left alone to face a huge house fire. They were found hiding in their playroom, in a tent and a closet. Three of them suffered cardiac arrest and were listed in critical condition.
Authorities have previously charged the children's mother, 27-year-old Crystal Ford.
The cause of the fire was not disclosed as the investigation continues.
