Philadelphia news, Pennsylvania news.

Pennsylvania authorities are investigating human remains found in a storage facility and believed to be those of a missing woman.

The remains were found on Monday at around 3:30 p.m. at the Safeguard Self Storage Facility in the northeast side of Philadelphia. The victim, identified as Brenda Jacobs, was last seen in 2003, nearly 200 miles away from the location of the remains.

49-year-old Jade Babcock was arrested among accusations of abusing a corpse. The gruesome discovery shocked the neighbors: "It's scary! Having a dead body across the street from you and you don't know how it got there," said Catherine Daily who lives across the street. "We saw the medical examiner's office pull up so we knew something was going on over there."
