A Texas mother has allegedly drowned her 5-year-old son, decapitated him before stuffing the body in a trash can at their Houston home's garage according to police.
Lihui Liu, 43, was arrested Friday, after police officers, responding to a 911 call of stabbing at around 7 p.m., found the boy's body in the garage partially covered with a plastic bag.
Police said that Liu told the father she sent their son away. The boy's father started looking for him. He found the decapitated body in a trash can in the garage, covered in a black bag. Police later recovered a blood-soaked knife in the bathroom.
The couple has also a 13-year-old daughter, but it is unknown if she was at home at the killing time.
Liu was taken into custody, she reportedly admitted to drowning her son.
