Prosecutors indicted four former employees of a retirement home in Florida after a hurricane resulted in the death of 12 patients.

The Broward County Attorney's Office on Monday filed a criminal disclosure report outlining nine counts of manslaughter of an elderly person against Administrator Jorge Carballo and Nursing Supervisor Sergo Colin.

Nurse Althia Meggie faces two counts of major manslaughter of an elderly person and two counts of falsification of evidence. Nurse Tamika Miller faces six counts of manslaughter and two counts of falsifying evidence.

They were arrested last month.

Residents at the now-closed Hollywood Hills Rehabilitation Center died in a devastating heat following Hurricane Irma in 2017.
