The man who was fatally shot outside an apartment complex northeast Charlotte, N.C was identified.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are now investigating the fatal shooting that killed 22-year-old Javon Daniel Alim Sherwood outside the Belle Haven Apartment Homes on Autumn Lake Court.
The shooting happened at around 7:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the apartment complex. Officers said that they arrived on scene to find Javon Sherwood, suffering from a serious gunshot wound. He laer was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said that the victim's family has been notified of his death and asked anyone with information to contact the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and help in the investigation.
