Richfield news, Minnesota news.

Protesters blocked traffic on Interstate 494 in Richfield, Minnesota, Sunday night, following a shooting vigil involving an officer in the city.

Brian Quinones, 30, was shot dead by police after a chase at around 10:30 pm Saturday evening.

The moments before the shootings involving officers were captured on a live video on Facebook launched by Quinones.

In the video, the police begin to chase Quinones - who seems to stay calm but does not stop - shortly after the video starts.

The video shows Quinones jumping from the vehicle - with what appears to be a weapon in his hand - and a few seconds later, shots are heard.

A vigil was organized in the memory of Quinones near the shooting scene at 18 hours.

After 7 pm, the protesters moved from the shooting scene to Portland Avenue and the 494 ramps. On 494, protesters prevented cars from circulating, creating a significant setback along the highway leading east for about half an hour. Shortly after, the demonstration moved away from the roadway and headed for the shooting scene.

Police investigate the circumstances of the shooting.
