A commander of a B-52 Stratofortress squadron was recently relieved from duty after for making “sexually explicit and phallic drawings” with the map software inside the bomber’s cockpit during a recent deployment.
Lt. Col. Paul Goossen has been serving as commander of the 69th Bomb Squadron when the order of his removal became official on Nov. 27; after penis drawings were discovered on a moving map software displayed on the nuclear-capable B-52’s Combat Network Communication Technology.
An Air Force press release stated that the commander was released “due to a loss of trust and confidence from his failure to maintain a professional workplace environment”.
penis drawings were repeatedly created by members of the unit During the 69th’s deployment to Al Udeid Air Force Base, Qatar, between September 2017 and April 2018, the screenshots were saved in a cd to be displayed during an end-of-deployment party.
however, somebody has left the cd behind leading officials to the whole incident and launching a general investigation.
