According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, a 22-year-old man has been arrested after a standoff with authorities following the shooting death of his boss on Friday night.
56-year-old Leonard John Ruffer was shot to death by his employee following an argument at his north Harris County home. Jatraveous Williams was apprehended by a family member who tried to bring him to the sheriff's office. The suspect allegedly threatened the man at gunpoint and escaped leading police to a standoff before he ultimately turned himself in.
The victim, who is Williams' boss, was running a floor installation company.
Authorities did not disclose the motive of the killing as the investigation continues.
