The son of Barry Bennett, the former Jets defensive lineman, was reportedly arrested in Cancun, Mexico days after the murder of his parents.
Dylan Bennett, 22, was wanted in connection with his parents' deaths after they were found gunned down inside their Minnesota home. Authorities tracked down Bennett using his cell phone, credit card, and ATM activity, according to the Todd County Sheriff's Office.
Bennett will be transported back to the US in the coming days. He will face murder charges, according to a police statement.
Carol and Barry Bennett were killed on Aug. 21 in their Long Prairie home. They were described as being kind and nice people by friends and acquaintances.
