Middletown news, New Jersey news.

Two New Jersey women have been arrested after they allegedly shoplifted a stroller from a store and left without their baby.

The incident occurred on August 16 just before 6 p.m. at the Bambi Baby store on State Route 35 where three women entered the store. Two of the women then distracted the manager while the third stole the stroller. "I noticed the stroller was gone. However, I didn't want to jump to conclusions, so I definitely walked around the store first then started checking the camera and then noticed the stroller had been taken," the manager said.

The woman returned shortly later to retrieve her baby and was approached by the store manager who asked her to give it back."

The women were arrested after being identified.
