A Chester man has been arrested after he allegedly ran over his girlfriend and another woman inside a store, according to police.

36-year-old Daniel Williams was charged with murder along with several other felonies after he killed Shantel Harmon, 26, and severely wounded another with a pickup truck. The incident occurred on Thursday at around 9 p.m. near a Sunoco station on Industrial Highway in Tinicum Township. The store manager, Kurwinder Singh, recalled seeing Harmon screaming and running for her life through the parking lot before entering the store. She was followed by Williams into the store where he stroke her "going in all the way."

"In this case, the victim, Shantel Harmon, was ruthlessly run down while fleeing for her life," said DA Katayoun Copeland.
