Plainsboro news, New Jersey news.

A New Jersey man has been charged in the death of his coworker at her home during the lunch break in June, according to authorities.

30-year-old Kenneth C. Saal has been charged with first-degree murder and a third-degree weapon charge for ambushing and killing 26-year-old Carolyn Byington in her Plainsboro apartment on June 10. The suspect and the victim were both hired by Engine Group in 2016, but no motive has been disclosed for the crime.

On that day, Saal told his supervisor that he will be late getting back to work because he has to repair his car. Neighbors described hearing faint screams inside the apartment and the victim was found stabbed multiple times when she did not show back to work from her lunch break.
