A 12-year-old Florida boy was able to escape from a man who tried to kidnap him while walking home from school by jumping out of the kidnapper's moving car, Florida police said Thursday.
The teen has suffered minor scrapes on his entire body including his arms, hands, and forehead that stroke the pavement.
A probable cause affidavit revealed that the victim told police that Timothy H. Miller, 26, "seemed nice and had a friendly smile" that's why he got in the vehicle. But became worried when the suspect acted "strangely" saying that he wanted to buy drugs from him.
Miller was arrested after a witness has followed his truck and managed to block it. He was charged with kidnapping, resisting arrest with violence and child neglect.
