Houston news, Texas news.

The investigation is ongoing by Houston authorities after a 12-year-old girl who was driving a car had fatally hit a man and his dog on Beverly Hills Street.

According to the aerial footage, the tragedy unfolded on August 15 at about 4 p.m. Police are currently working to determine the circumstances of the incident.

Neighbors confirmed that the victim was walking the pet as usual but insisted that they didn't know how or why the teen has driven the vehicle.

Despite the girl's age, deputies gave her a field sobriety test after her arrest: "They did her like she was drunk. We were wondering why they would do that test on her if she's just like a teenager. She's not supposed to be drunk or anything," a woman who witnessed the event said.
