A third arrest has been made in connection to the murder of a 29-year-old mother who was shot to death amid a home invasion, North Carolina police announced.
Kristen Chambers, 30, is now facing conspiracy to commit burglary and being an accessory to first-degree murder charges in connection to the deadly shooting of Lucero Sosa Capote, 29-year-old, a mother of five last month.
The suspect who was living in Marshville has been taken into custody. Her bail is set on $500,000.
In addition to Chambers, two other suspects were arrested during the homicide investigation. They were identified as Byron Blair Watkins, 25, and Antwan David Sturdivant, 19-year-old. Watkins was apprehended following a two-day manhunt.
