Akron police said that the body of a missing 18-year-old Ohio woman was found dead in a wooded area three weeks after the time she had last been seen.
Samantha Guthrie's body was found in New Franklin on Sunday around midnight, the medical examiner said she died of a gunshot wound to the head.
Danny Hamby, 39, and Toni Kenney, 31, had already been in jail for Guthrie' disappearence, Monday they were charged with murder. It was not clear if the victim knew the pair or which one fired the gun that killed her.
In the Guthrie case, there were two other arrests, William Eugene Alexander, 38, and Dylan Brown, 19, who alongside Kenny told authorities the victim was shot at a house in Akron, then her body dumped in the wooded area. The investigation is still active.
