the shooter has entered the Paradise Township municipal building around 8:20 a.m., where he shot the man, police headed to the municipal building in the Pocono Mountains, about 100 miles (161 kilometers) north of Philadelphia, and arrested the suspect without further incidents.
the victim was identified as Michael Tripus, 65, of Stroudsburg. The township's website listed him as the sewage enforcement and building code officer. Police said the suspect, David Green, 72, of Swiftwater, was taken into custody.
State police are still investigating the case, as they are not sure yet about the motives of the shooter and the kind of relationship between him and the victim.
