A teenage rapper in Texas was found guilty Friday in the death of a 21-year-old man during a house robbery.

Taymor McIntyre, 19, who passes for Tay-K, was convicted of murder and robbery by an Arlington jury in the death of Ethan Walker in July 2016 at his home in Mansfield. southeast of Fort Worth.

Another person in the house was injured.

The man who shot Walker was sentenced last year to life imprisonment. McIntyre was charged with murder for recruiting the gunman and planning the robbery, Tarrant County prosecutors said.

The teenager is still facing a charge of skilled murder in Bexar County for the April 2017 assassination of a man in a San Antonio Chick-fil-A, KDFW-TV reported in Dallas.

The murder sparked a nationwide human hunt. While McIntyre was on the run, his single "The Race" was posted on YouTube, which earned him the Billboard Hot 100 after his arrest in New Jersey in June 2017.
