Manchester Township news, New Jersey news.

A Manchester Township man is facing murder charges nearly seven months after his elderly mother's death as new development emerged in the case.

63-year-old Thomas Foster was charged with murdering his 85-year-old mother Carolyn Foster. The crime occurred last January but the investigators believed at first that the death was a result of natural causes. A family member had recently decided to come forward and say that Thomas was behind his elderly mother's death.

The Saturday charges came after the county prosecutor reopened the case and announced Thomas Foster as a suspected murderer of his mother.

Authorities did not disclose the motive for the killing or its circumstances.
