Kentucky authorities arrested a man on Thursday after human remains believed to be those of missing Kentucky mother Savannah Spurlock were found buried at his parents' home.
Police believe that David Sparks was the last person to be with Spurlock. He currently remains in a Madison County prison and is facing tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse charge.
At this time, it is not confirmed if the recovered remains are those of the mother of four who has vanished since January 4 because they were severely decomposed, according to Kentucky State Police Trooper Robert Purdy.
The finding unfolded after a neighbor called the police to report a foul odor that comes from the house where Sparks used to live.
