The parents of an Illinois baby who died after being rushed to hospital in critical condition have been arrested.
24-year-old Rachelle Rattery and 26-year-old Tabares Tony Wadley have been charged with felony second-degree murder, felony second-degree child cruelty and misdemeanor violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act.
The incident occurred earlier in the year when the parents called 911 to report an unresponsive child. Upon their arrival, police officers the 1-year-old in a critical condition. He died later that same day.
The search of the house revealed numerous drug containers and prescriptions on the floor as well as a small amount of marijuana. The parents were finally arrested on Tuesday.
