a Roman Catholic priest crimes are finally coming to light after his death, Reverend Michael Freeman is accused of pointing a weapon while sexually abusing his victims.
Steve Boyd, the attorney who is representing a man in a compensation claim with the Diocese, received a complaint about the priest who has abused a man and another alleged victim identified by The Buffalo News and Boyd claim that Reverend Michael Freeman assaulted them in the 1980s with those claims reported to Diocesan officials.
Attorney Steve Boyd represented his client's stories as the following :
"We have multiple victims and one of the ones that stand out is a guy who was abused by Father Freeman and when this claimant contacted me it was an immediate shock because I knew a lawyer in Niagara Falls Paul Barr who was abused by the same priest."
"High school freshman taken to Toronto and made to have sex with male prostitutes in front of the priest, made to have sex with male prostitutes with the priest, on some occasions the priest would point a gun to his head."
Freeman who died in 2010 is included in a list of priests accused of sexually abusing children released by the diocese in March.
