The investigation is ongoing by St. Louis authorities after five bodies were found inside an apartment on June 6.
Deputies arrived at the scene after a man called them early Saturday morning claiming that he spent the day with victims at the apartment and left them late Friday night. But when he returned he found them dead.
According to St. Louis County police spokeswoman Tracy Panus, the incident was ruled as a homicide. No further information about the victims' names has been provided.
In a press conference, Police Chief Jon M. Belmar said: "Any time that we have a scene like this, where there's what appears to be five individuals that are victims of homicide, it rocks a community."
