President Trump threatened in a tweet to close the US border with Mexico "permanently".
"Mexico" should move the flag waving migrants, many of whom are stone cold criminals, back to their countries". He said "Do it by plane, do it by bus, do it anyway you want, but they are NOT coming into the U.S.A. We will close the border permanently if need be. Congress, fund the WALL!".
His tweet comes after US troops clashed with more rhan 500 migrants trying to violently cross the US border at the San Diego -Tijuana entry point, 39 of them were arrested on Sunday. Mexico Interior Ministry vowed to deport them.
Activits condemned "shamful" scenes of families with children fleeing after agents reportedly fired tear gas to disperse the migrants.
