Palm Beach news, Florida news.

A Florida father is described as "Superman" after a bold and daring rescue aimed at saving his infant son who fell into a swimming pool Sunday was captured on a dramatic video.

Albert Passavanti and his family were relaxing in a swimming pool in Palm Beach when his son Rocco, one and a half years old, rushed to the edge of the water.

The video captured by a camera shows that Rocco is quickly climbing inside the open 4-foot fence surrounding the pool and looking for an inflatable balloon floating in the water. When he tumbles to Passavanti - who was watching his son from the shadows - jumps up, sprints to the pool and jumps over the fence to save Rocco.

Anna Stewart, head of the Palm Beach County Drowning Prevention Coalition, said what the father did could be dangerous.

Passavanti warns parents to take preventive measures, such as making sure the fences around the pools are properly closed and taking swimming lessons for the kids.
