A newborn girl found alive in a plastic bag in the Georgia Woods was captured on a body video, authorities said Tuesday.
The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office has made the video public in the hope of generating credible advice in the case of Baby India.
The authorities have been seeking the baby's mother since June 6, when a family in a nearby house heard her crying in a wooded area of Cumming, about 35 km north of Atlanta.
The video shows deputies tearing the plastic bag containing the child while she is crying. Then they wrap it in a blanket to keep it warm.
Officials ask the public to share their knowledge of a woman in late pregnancy who could have given birth to the baby.
