A four-year-old has died after she fell under a Christmas parade float in Nova Scotia, Canada.
The tragic events happened just before 7 p.m. local time as people watched the parade, the victim was running alongside the float when she fell under it according to police. The girl was treated at the scene by emergency services and then taken to hospital where she died.
Corporal Dal Hutchinson said that a lot of people witnessed the incident and those needing help coping with trauma will be help, he added:" Our thoughts right now are with this little girl's family, as it's a very difficult time, but also with the community, with people that were there watching the parade."
