Walmart gunman not expected to survive his self-inflicted wound

A woman has been shot dead at a north Florida Walmart store after on Saturday during a domestic dispute.

The suspect was identified as David Johnson, a 54-year-old who fired multiple shots killing the 30-year-old Carli Cronin before fleeing the scene on a bicycle. Police said that he had then shot himself and was hospitalized but they do not expect him to survive his self-inflicted gunshot injuries.

The shooting occured during an apparent domestic dispute in the garden section of a Walmart store in Ocala north Orlando. The victim reportedly screamed for help and employees called 911 and tried to intervene. She died at a hospital. No other shoppers or employees were injured.
