The son of the infamous associate of the Bonnano crime family has been charged with his father's murder and brother's attempted murder.
Anthony Zottola Sr. had reportedly hired gang members in order to kill his 71-year-old father Sylvester Zottola and 41-year-old brother Salvatore.
The father was shot dead as he sat in his SUV outside a McDonald's in the Bronx. While Salvatore survived a shooting that targeted him in front of his home. He was shot several times in the head and chest.
Prosecutors allege that Anthony had attempted many times to kill his siblings. Three suspects were also charged in Zottola's murder while five others have already been charged with the same murder.
