The rising rapper C Glizzy has reportedly been shot in the head outside of a convenience store on Saturday.
The 16-year-old rapper, whose real name is Christian Moore, was shot on MLK Boulevard in Pompano Beach, Florida. Authorities didn't name a suspect in the case.
The rapper's mother told news reporters that her son was heavily sedated and unable to talk after he underwent surgery to remove the bullet from his head. She said that despite his complicated situation, she still hopes he will recover soon.
Moore has nearly 60,000 followers on Instagram and was a close friend of slain rapper XXXTentacion who was 20-year-old when he was shot to death in 2018 during an armed robbery.
