According to the National Weather Service, at least nine tornadoes hit Indiana, damaging a school and other buildings and cutting down trees.
Three EF2 tornadoes with winds of up to 130 km / h hit Greene, Monroe and Rush counties at the start of Saturday and an EF-1 tornado with winds reaching 100 mph (160 km / h) hit enclave of Beech Grove in Indianapolis, heavily damaged High School.
Investigations also revealed Monday that a tornado had damaged a church in Fayette County, several businesses located in a Richmond Mall and a third in Union County.
Saturday's storms destroyed three homes and damaged about 70 others.
