Oregon authorities have confirmed the identities of two bodies that were found shot to death as those of a missing mom and her 3-year-old son.
Karissa Fretwell, 25, and her son William were found dead Saturday in a remote area in northwestern Oregon, according to Salem and Yamhill County.
The main suspect, Michael Wolfe, 52, was apprehended and charged last week in connection to the murders.
Wolfe, the boy's father, has been fighting Fretwell over the child custody. He had recently been ordered to give $900 monthly to the mother in child support fees.
Fretwell and her son went missing on May 13. It is unclear when exactly the deaths occurred.
