Gable Stevenson, a nationally ranked University of Minnesota heavyweight wrestler, and one of his teammates were arrested on suspicion of criminal sexual behavior.
According to KARE-TV, a statement from the sports department at the chain confirmed that the two men arrested were part of the wrestling team.
They have not been charged.
Stevenson and Dylan Martinez were reportedly arrested Saturday night at different times and at different locations in Minneapolis.
The sports department says they have been suspended from the team's activities pending further information. He says federal and state laws prohibit disclosure of additional details.
