Raleigh news, North Carolina news.

According to the police, a robbery suspect with a machete wounded by an 11-year-old boy was arrested a few days after leaving a hospital where he was being treated.

Sgt. Shane Brown of the Burlington Police Department said Jataveon Dashawn Hall, 19, was arrested Sunday in Burlington after a two-day manhunt.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office says Hall is accused of breaking into a house to rob her. The home invasion took place on Friday morning and Hall was chased by the 11-year-old, who hit him with a machete.

Hall then sought treatment at the hospital for head injuries, but dodged on Friday night.

It was not known immediately if Hall had a lawyer.
