According to the authorities in North Carolina, a suspected home invasion suspect who was detained by a 11-year-old boy with a machete had left the hospital and was on the run.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office announced Saturday that Jataveon Dashawn Hall, 19, had left the hospital where he was being treated Friday for head injuries. He faces charges of breaking and entering and assault. He was free on Saturday night.
Authorities say he was one of the intruders who entered the house on Friday.
The sheriff's office says he came to the hospital for treatment, but a nurse later found his hospital bed empty. The surveillance video showed him leaving.
