A Renton father has confessed to authorities that he "executed" his 38-year-old daughter following an altercation over her child gate at their family home.
Wendell Wilson, 68, has been charged with first-degree murder and domestic violence assault in connection to the fatal shooting of Lila Wilson who was shot at least six times in her head just a few feet from her 1-year-old baby boy.
The "petty argument" started when Lila decided to place a baby gate at the kitchen entrance, but her father disagreed. Lila then threatened to move out of the house which frustrated Wilson who grabbed his gun "as a dominance thing" and opened fire at her repeatedly.
During the investigation, Wilson kept admitting the shooting claiming: "I just murdered my daughter!"
