Las Vegas news, Nevada news.

A Las Vegas jury had convicted a man of murder and robbery based on a Snapchat message that the victim saved on his phone.

25-year-old Montrell Russum was convicted of murder, robbery, and conspiracy in connection to the 2018 murder of Martell Williams, 25-year-old.

The victim has saved a Snapchat message from his murderer. A third friend of the pair, Brandon Boisclair, found the message shortly after discovering the dead body of Williams.

Surveillance video also helped detectives identify two other suspects that are currently in custody while awaiting trial.

Authorities have not revealed the content of the Snapchat message that, if not saved, was going to be deleted in a short time.
