Pittsburgh news, Pennsylvania news.

A Pennsylvania pregnant teenager told authorities she was strangled and assaulted by a man who also threatened to stab her.

Steven Roberson, 52-year-old, was charged with aggravated assault of an unborn child, terroristic threats and strangulation. The charges stemmed from a domestic argument between the teenager and her mother. Roberson told authorities that he was trying to separate them when he grabbed the girl and threw her against a bed.

The teen was later transported to a hospital. She was not harmed amid the incident, according to law enforcement.

The victim's mother told police that Roberson was trying to "break it up" when the dispute between her and the teen escalated.
