U.S president Donald Trump clashed with CNN's reporter Jim Acosta during his 90-minute press conference that came after the midterm elections.
The clash began when the journalist asked Trump if he didn't think he was demonizing migrants by calling their caravan an ''invasion''. Trump then ordered Acosta to put down his microphone and ''just sit down''. He added ''I think you should let me run the country, you run CNN, and if you did it well, your ratings would be much better''.
But Mr Acosta wasn't ready to simply obey the orders, as he followed up with a question about Robert Muller's Russia probe forcing the president to say angrily: ''That's enough. That's enough. That's enough. Excuse me, that's enough'', adding ''put down the mic''.
As the reporter continued to ask the president, the latter became furious and left the podium. Only then Acosta decided to sit down. Mr Trump returned to the podium and added : '' I'll tell you what, CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them. You are a rude, terrible person. You shouldn't be working for CNN.''
And when a NBC journalist stepped up to defend Acosta, claiming that he travelled with him a lot and that he is a diligent reporter, Trump cut him off saying '' I'm not a big fan of yours either''.
That wasn't the only row the President had in his rare press conference, as he clashed with a number of reporters who had so many questions in numerous issues that they began to speak over each other trying to raise all the questions.
