A 102-year-old French woman has reportedly killed her 92-year-old neighbor at a retirement home in Chezy-Sur-Marne, according to news outlets.
The centenarian woman, who remains unidentified confessed to an employee that she killed her 92-year-old neighbor. The carer then found the unresponsive victim with serious facial injuries and bruises.
The elderly woman was taken to a psychiatric hospital to undergo an evaluation in order to determine whether she could be held responsible for her crime. The victim's cause of death was determined as blows to the head in addition to strangulation.
There was no information about the motive of the attack. The victim has not been immediately identified.
