Nashville news, Tennessee news.

A Nashville man surrendered to police after he allegedly stole a parked ambulance outside a local hospital.

Thomas Luu, 38-year-old, exited Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital last Monday and drove off a parked ambulance as its staff was inside the hospital. Authorities were able to locate Luu in Music Row where they arrested him without incident.

Luu was charged with theft of $250,000 or more, evading arrest and driving under intoxication, according to reports.

In April, Luu was apprehended following another incident after he crashed his scooter into a Mercedes-Benz. When questioned about the crash, he told police he did so because "it's a Nazi car." He was later convicted of disorderly conduct.
