High school graduation party fueled by alcohol spiraled out of control, leaving one person dead.

According to Alabama authorities, a high school graduation party, fueled by alcohol, escalated into a spiral on Saturday morning, killing one person and wounding 8 others.

Atmore Police Chief Chuck Brooks said one person died and eight others were wounded in a shootout at the former Escambia County Middle School.

Authorities received a 911 call around 2am. When the police arrived, they found a gunman shot inside the cafeteria of the building.

The gunfire erupted after a fight between two women at a party involving hundreds of people.

Brooks says they have not made any arrests yet, but are looking for two people.
