Missouri news.

Missouri became the last state to adopt a restrictive anti-abortion law on Friday, as the GOP-led parliament approved the abortion ban at eight weeks of pregnancy. Republican Governor Mike Parson was to sign it.

Missouri's legislation comes after the governor of Alabama signed a bill on Wednesday making abortion a crime in almost every case.

Republican-led legislatures in the United States are imposing new restrictions on abortion.

Kentucky, Mississippi, Ohio, and Georgia have approved the ban on abortion as soon as the fetal heart rate is detected, which can occur around the sixth week of pregnancy.
