According to a file filed Thursday by prosecutors describing the extent of Michael Flynn's cooperation with the probe, the former national security adviser to the White House, told the special council office that people related to the Trump administration and Congress had contacted him about his cooperation with the investigation of Russia.
The document states that Flynn and its lawyers have received communications from unidentified persons related to the administration and the Congress that "could have affected both its willingness to cooperate and the comprehensiveness of this cooperation".
Flynn awaits his sentence after confessing to having lied to the FBI about his conversations with the Russian ambassador to the United States.
