Captain Andrew Collins A United Airlines pilot is facing charges for standing naked in front of his hotel room window on Sept. 20.
defending himself the 22-year veteran of the airlines said that he was unaware of the presence of people in Denver International Airport's glass-encased main terminal.
he added that he was preparing to have a shower when he got a sudden call the thing that made him stand absentmindedly in front of the window.
Some witnesses said that the accused man was fully aware of his actions and that he even danced, touched his body, and waved at a federal Transportation Security Administration officer.
officers from the Denver Police Department burst into Collins' room in the Westin Hotel. They handcuffed him and took him to the airport's jail, where he was charged with indecent exposure.
Collins’ attorney, Craig Silverman, said that he inspected the hotel room and realised that people inside the concourse are not visible from within the hotel room, but the hotel room is visible to people inside the main DIA terminal.
He added, “There is zero evidence of any sexual activity demonstrating an intent to arouse or to satisfy the sexual desire of any person.”
Collins has been removed from his duties until authorities finish their investigations.
