Henderson news, Kentucky news.

A Kentucky suspect ended a long police chase by killing himself early on Wednesday morning, according to authorities.

The unidentified man entered in the police chase when he refused to stop after he committed numerous traffic violations at the intersection of 10th and North Adams streets. "Upon stopping the vehicle, the driver held a hand gun up in view and then to his head while making threatening movements," police claimed in a news release.

"Once the pursuit ended at the river, the driver ended his life with the hand gun," Henderson Police Department officials said.

The low speed chase had ultimately ended at the intersection of Kentucky 416 and the Green River in Habbardsville.
