A Philadelphia father and his son were badly injured by unknown men inside their home amid robbery last Monday.
The incident unfolded about 9:45 p.m. inside the victims' house located in the 5200 block of Marlow Street in Frankford as they reached home from shopping.
Once they entered the home, they were surprised by two armed men inside.
More than ten gun shot sounds were heard at the time, police said.
The victims who remained anonymous were rushed to Temple University Hospital for treatment.
The father, 33, suffered bullets wounds in his arms and torso while his 12-year-old son was shot in his chest.
The father has reportedly a licensed firearm but it was not confirmed if he used it.
