Pipe bomb suspect makes first court appearance, amid thight security

Cesar Sayoc was ordered to be held without bail, Tuesday, by a federal judge in New York in charges of mailing more than a dozen explosive devices to several personalities, such us Barack and Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton,the billionaire financier George Soros, CNN and some critics of Donald Trump. The last bomb was recovered last Friday addressed to activist Tom Steyer.


The criminal acts of Sayoc came just before the crucial midterm elections, and where at the time labeled them as a campaign of terrorism. None of the devices exploded or caused injuries as they were intercepted en route by authorities.


Prosecutors claim that Seyoc was reportedly a supporter of Trump and that they consider him a threat to the public security so that he should be held without bail.He faces , if convicted, up to 50 years in prison.
